i'm back :) so i figgured i'd make a post of my fav. war3 map sooo tell me what part you like to play on [ scourge or elfs] fav. hero and item recepyes...


personaly i like to play at the elfs with the prophet :) but i have no fav item recepy..

I generally play Lion - side doesn't really matter since I play all-pick//short-mode. But in general, I find that sentinel wins more often so I try to play sentinel.

As far as recipes go, my build is:
First Buy - Null Talisman
Later - Eul's
Power Treads
Oblivion Staff
Upgrade to Guinoo's
Ultimate orb (2) and Point Booster
Upgrade to Skadi's
This late in the game it doesn't really matter what I get, but I usually go for Aegis

I also play Sven and Omniknight, but not as well as Lion.

About me... I ususally go for Hand of Midas and spam it, Then get Boots of Travel and Sange+Yasha! Then go for Sacred Relic Yoo!

So I'm finding the public games really, really boring now'a'days. Anyone on here want to play a few games?

I generally play with 1-2 of my friends that I go to school with, so maybe we could do a few 2on2 or 3on3s and then play a few TDA games?

Also, I've never used hand of midas before . . . what's the cooldown on its use and how much gold do you get from each use anyway? I don't think it'd be useful for Lion, but if I start switching characters, it may be valuable to know :P. I often see other people that play the Lone Druid get the hand for the pet bear.

I was once on the hardcore circuit 3.6d and 3.7 RoC DotA. Those were the days :)

Hand of Midas specially comes handy with Tiny, where he gets bonus attack speed, Get Power Treads and Boots of Travel... That results in much increase...

Oh.. Get DotA map and play in Single Player first off all... Once you have a hang on heroes, choose one to be your fav. I'll recommend Lich to be first beginners hero...
Get Frost Nova + Ritual, Use Ritual on Ghouls...
The important concept is teamwork and Items...
Another important part is Spamming, The Abil Spamming means using them on units and not heroes... You must get your ability to at least lvl3 before you start spamming it... The Ultimates really matter.. And must not be spammed...
