In the mod I am currently working on, I have a flying vulture, with its frag. grenades modded into a gauss rifle. It worked just fine against ground targets but whenever i tried to attack air untis (Like another vulture) it would crash. As a solution I tried to give the vulture 2 different weapons for air and ground, but it still crashed.
Can anybody help me please?

Well have you given your Vulture the air attack/return to idle after air attack animations in Ice/CC?
That's one of the major things that new modders miss.
Also you'll have to set your Frag grenade to hit both and ground?

I done have or use Ice or Icecc, I just simply used AIII to change the frag grenade to Air and Ground and then set the frag grenade as the air weapon.

well ice changes the animation of the attack to air and ground

becuz vulture doesnt have a air animation so if u just simply change it to attack air with out a air animation it wont work

a3 cant change aimation so u cant have a air attacking vultures wihtout ice/cc

and to do that i think u just copie the ground anim. numbers to the air anim. slot then copie the ground repeat and to the air repeat

i havent mess around with ice/cc that much so i counld be wroung

ive only got it to spread flys to target attacks

i did something like this with the SCVs. I gave the SCVs c-10 canister rifles as both air and ground weapons and it attacked air units just fine w/o an air animation.

That depends. If the SCV has an attack26 command then you don't need an air animation. Also if you use the same weapon on the same unit then it will not crash when attacking air.
However in this case where the vulture has 2 different weapons you will need an air attack anim.

oh. ok. But if it already has an air attack animation, it toeesnt need a new one right?
