Indeed, I do
When you open TblPad, load the Stat_txt.tbl file from your rez folder.
It'll open up a huge list of names, which ever name you change (Like say you change the marine's name to Green Beret, it'll appear as Green Beret on screen when you click on a marine)
Once you've made your changes, save the stat_txt.tbl file in your rez folder located in your mod folder

I think he may be talking about how it acctually works, like how it opens the .TBL files and stuff.

It simply reads the tbl file, store the strings in an array, and save it back to a tbl file again.
*.tbl files are very simple.
Check this for *.tbl file specs. http://shadowflare.samods.org/tblspecs.html
If it's too complex, I could post tbl loading classes in both ANSI C++ and Managed C++ (from abandoned projects) to help you understand. I have a VB.Net version somewhere, but I can't find it. Or if I take too long, you can download the DatEdit source and look at its implementation.

If you have winmpq, open then "Patch_rt" file.(you better know where that it)
Then just do what I said in my last post and BAM! Theres rez/stat.tbl

There's an easier path
It's in your Arsenal 3 Folder
You don't need to go through the trouble of opening patch_rt in WinMPQ

well, i might as well tell u where patch_rt is since u will need to know later on. Go to the C drive, click program files, click starcraft, and there it is. simple.

well, i might as well tell u where patch_rt is since u will need to know later on. Go to the C drive, click program files, click starcraft, and there it is. simple. It's on my E drive, and my SCBW folder is mounted as my S drive... Anyway you can actually use stardraft to extract it (it can automatically locate patch_rt for you).

It's not there!!!!!!!!
It's C:\Program Files\Starcraft simple. If patch_rt isn't there and you have multiple harddrives on your computer then check the other HDs. It will ALWAYS (At least almost always) be in a folder called starcraft.
EDIT: Actually here's an even better way to find it. Goto your "Start Menu" goto "Programs" and then to "Starcraft" where it says Starcraft (or Starcraft Brood War) right click on it and on the menu that pops up click "Properties"(it's on the bottom of the menu) in the box that comes up near the bottom will be a button that says "Find Target" click on it and whalla! there is your SC directory!
