Nope, my internet's free. Ftw.
You should really just go to a library or something :\. Unless you're downloading material, then I can kind of see where you're coming from.

Can anyone remember my old duck hunt score? I think it was 1'300'000 or something around that. I was also the champion of airfox and I got what I thought was an easy score on moon lander but it turned out to be enough to remain the undefeated champion. None of those games take any skill but I am the ultimate master of alcohol fuelled repeative gaming!!

I have free internet at college, but when I go home I can access some dudes wireless internet from my bedroom. It's neat.

In tech school we had wireless internet in a pavillion outside in some areas, so I'd be walking around trying to find the signal, then once I found it I couldn't move from that exact spot otherwise I'd lose it. Also, I spent the last 3 months at McChord I've been ...borrowing... internet from whoever was brocasting the unsecured wireless network. but in the snow, no.

DSL. Not as fast as cable, but it's about 30 bucks cheaper. When I say not as fast, I mean hardly a difference.

Is it really free if you are paying to go to the school?

Dude, candy's bad for you. When I was about ten years old, our mailman -- maillady's, name was candy. I thought she was the easter bunny. :D

Anyway, back on topic. Yeah, I've done that and right now I nearly chitted a brick when I found another network when the one I had been borrowing shut down.
