Holy hell... that's really awesome!

Where's this?

It's in Japan! Who else would build an Indoor Ocean next to an open Ocean?

tr00, the Japanese would but they have good reason to - that real beach front looks like Hell. I wouldn't swim there... and I'm from Chicago! O_o

Wow that's really cool.

Ocean Dome has its own flame-spitting volcano, crushed white marble "sand", and it also boasts the world's largest retractable roof, providing a permanently blue sky. Temperature, wind and humidity are closely controlled to provide an ultra-safe "sea-side" experience.

It even has it's own volcano O.o. These guys thought of everything.

Roadtrip to Japan anyone?

Now that's recreation! I wonder what the volcano is like. It spits out flames apparently, so there's actually a chance of getting burned in a swimming pool. That's so Ironic!!

The place has got everything, but it looks so full!

If I don't feel like going to BlizzCon or Tennessee when I have time off(If BlizzCon is running, anyway), then I guess I'm going to Japan o_O

I've seen stuff about it before but that is still amazing. That would be a definite stop if I ever make it to Japan.

That place has got everything, but it looks so full!

That is the essence of Japan; get everything and everyone and fit it into whatever space is available.

This adds points to the why I love Japan section in my brain!

Wow... O_o

It figures the Japanese built that. They are infamous for outpacing the rest of the world in just about everything <.<

No thanks, too crowded.

What's the point when the ocean is right there. A much cooler mini climate building was the indoor ski slope in the Middle East (forget which country). On the inside it's snowy, on the outside it's desert!

GD: It's in Dubai.

The point is that it will offer year-round swimming/tourist attraction on an otherwise undeveloped stretch of coastline. Ever wonder why there were so many waterparks in Florida and California? :P

It's actually not a bad idea, if you want to conserve pristine aquatic beach habitat and protect it from being overrun/trampled by tourists and sun worshipers. Surfing with no sharks! Sign me up! :)

Yep, it's in Dubai, the same place where you can find this beauty (see attached photos).

Yes, that is an indoor ski slope. In the middle of the desert.

Also to be found in Dubai is this tennis court (see attached), atop the world's only six-star hotel.

Jebus, you'd lose so many balls :\. Also, what if you ran back to hit a shot and then "AHHHH OMG WTF" you're falling.

Man...I'd go to that pool if I were really rich, that way I could rent it all out and invite everybody! Then we'll have a Starcraft LAN tournament. :D

Got my facts mixed up. I would want to go to those places though. Wonder what it would be like to play tennis atop of a big hotel.

That place has the worlds best hotel, worlds biggest indoor pool, and a indoor ski slope thats also big.. Thats my pristine vacation spot, right there. Except how much do you think a Six Star Hotel costs?? :P
The indoor ski slope is in Dubai, not Japan...
