the early attack!

hey i've just been playing against some computers for fun an just attacked like when i just had a hero, 5 footman an 2-3 rifleman(?)! when i had 3-4 footman i build a blacksmith and then ass soon as i could teched to tier 2..meanwhile i build to rifleman and attacked the enemy i sent reinforcements and after i finished teching to tier 2 build a workshop and then 2-3 mortars...
to my surprise it worked (of course only on small maps! Depending how u play(map revealed or not) u might have to sent a peasent to scout.. I know u will all say it ain't a tactic an that it's sh.t but i just wanted to post it here:D :D

Hey as a hint most people won't watch replays against computers, sorry :)

Pushing at Tier 2 is a very common strat for orc since Tier 3 isn't a giant improvement for them, unlike it is for other races i.e. undead. Mass Tier 1 + POTM is also good in NE mirror matches.

i know but i think they creep first...by my "tactic" u just attack without creeping..and i only have 2-3tier2 units so it isn't really pushing at tier 2....But u're right anyway:)

You should be creeping! Honestly do not camp in your base unless your turtling for some late Tier 3 unit. Heroes are much stronger at high levels.

I know in normal games i always creep..but just fighting against him i got my hero to level 5(?) witout dying...because he didn't creep(its a computer easy so they dont creep that fast):P
