Hello guys. Does anyone have a replay of an undead playing with anything other than mass ghouls / gargs?
im trying to learn how to play this game (not only with undead tough), but i did find any strat for undead, but the mass ghoul one...

Hello, takeshi10. May I be the first to officially welcome you to WB. But that's besides the point. Although I can't think of one to hand among my vast replay collection, I can imagine you will find some on the following sites.

The aforementioned websites have all the replays you'll need, really. Just make sure you search for ones from the latest patch, because that's the patch you're playing online.

yesterday, ive tried the find strat with a friend, but he knew what i was trying (kind of talked to him before the match), so he threw mass footman + defend and you guys might have figured out how it went...
by the time i wished to change strats, i was pretty much done....
but it looks a promising strat (if the guy dont know beforehand what are you doing)...
it goes something like this:

2 acc to gold
queue 1 acc to gold
build 1 grave
queue another acc
build crypt, altar and ziggy
1 ghoul to gold
another ziggy
1 fiend to creep green
1 DK and mass fiends (this is the only hero i barely know how to use)
tomb of relics and that thing that summons skelly (forgot the name)
rush to the enemy expo with 3 or 4 fiends (should i try to expo here instead?)

whenever i try it again, ill post the replay here
keep in mind that i still suck at this game and this strat have the potential to suck too...
any suggestions are more than welcome...

Fast expanding with Undead is generally a bad idea. I watched a game today from BlizzCon where MaDFroG fast expanded against a Night-Elf player on Terenas Stand, of all maps. Of course, Shortround found him and took down the expansion.

Many of your opponents will not fast expand either, so if you're going to rush them, you should go straight to their base. Skellie/Fiend/DK rushing is something that I've had limited success with in the past. It's really the only way I can win with Undead, apart from my uber-BM/FL Fiend/Caster strategy which just owns, dammit.

What ordinary Undead players should be doing early on in the game is creeping that DK to Level 3 and then depending on the matchup, either harrassing or creeping more while containing their opponent. The Undead expansion is a difficult one to set up, and so instead of getting into a game where you have an expansion and your opponent has one too, you'd much rather be in a situation where neither of you has an expansion.

Many anti-Undead strategies involve creeping to Level 2 and then harrassing the late-DK (in the case of Fiends) or the DK (in the case of Ghouls) so that he levels up less. There are of course other factors you should take into consideration. For instance, if you're playing Night-Elf and they go the ever popular BM/Panda, you're going to have to adapt. You can't outcreep a Beastmaster, so you harrass instead. It's all situational.

As for your build order, it's the standard Fiend build order, nothing out of the ordinary. Tech once you get to 23/26 food and hard tech to Tier 3 instead of lingering at Tier 2 where almost every race will have an advantage over you.

Anyway, that's my two cents.

The Fiend build against HU is almost suicide in all cases against good players. You really can't beat Defending Footies with Fiends. I recommend Alter, Zigg, Crypt, Tomb, Zigg, and tech. Harass with your DK to make him put up a tower and delay his tech. After the tower is up, be out creeping with Ghouls and DK. If you can jack your opponent (attack him while he's killing creep camps and steal items from him), then great. At Tier 2, upgrade to Tier 3, throw down a Slaughterhouse, get a Lich, and summon Ziggs and a Graveyard if you haven't already. Start making Stats. At Tier 3, get a Crypt Lord, throw down another Slaughterhouse, and upgrade Destroyer Form. When Destroyer Form completes, attack with Ghouls and Stats, and morph Stats into Destroyers as they reach low HP.

You might as well start making Gargs to counter Flying Machines. If your opponent starts making Hawks, you'll be in the clear. Hawks are ass for Anti-Air compared to Flying Machines. Also, one or two Fiends are nice for preparing for a human opponent that techs straight to Tier 3 for Gryphs. Be sure to research web if you see someone trying to tech fast and has Aviaries up and running. Aboms aren't so great unless your opponent is severely behind in tech. Mostly, you'll have better luck controlling the air with Gargoyles and Destroyers than pumping out Aboms and Fiends. Gargs and Destro's eat Flying Machines for lunch, and Undead players often try to compensate for FM's by switching to a ground based army. Just watch some replays of Pro's. You'll get an idea of what to do.

Fiend Massing up is always nice... When u can get Aboms to tank, Meats to siege and Wyrms later in game... I won several battles using the tactic...

When you get a deal of Fiends... Then burrow half of them... Cam near enemy base... Simple tactic to use with NE players specially... Untill enemy bothers to get sentinels on tree...

I normally mass up fiends and then go after Dests to teake out enemy army... Dests come handy aganist humans where enemy tries to route u up with Slow/Poly etc. Can use Devour Magic too easily. I normally depend a lot on such micros.... I am good at them fairly... (Not comparing with u RedRag...)
