Yeah that's where i went. Freaky isn't it?
In any case though, I just went to download.com and that seemed to work, but a strange occurance nontheless.
I'm guessing either you're a freak and didn't do it right.. ;)
Or, Apple may be trying to force Windows users to download iTunes to install QT these days, I think they've combined the installer, but I recall the option of which of the two you wished to install once it's downloaded. Not sure.. not in the same boat. : )

The evil of quicktime is only second to that of the much greater evil that is real player...
Quicktime really isn't that bad guys.. And upgrading to Quicktime Pro can help to reduce a lot of Windows-related complaints directed towards QT.
But whatever, just my opinion. ;)

Quicktime is good. Quicktime and Media Player Classic (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=82303&package_id=84358) is the best thing evar. Really.
If you have QT and RealPlayer installed, MPC can play all your .MOV files and .RM files without starting up the crappy viewer applications for either of them. It also has built-in support for MPEG2 and AC3 sound, and it plays VCDs better than any other DVD software I've tried. All that and it's barely one megabyte :) Go get it!
