You extract the Title.pcx from stardat (broodat if you want the broodwar screen) then open up the extracted file with paint. Viola!

First open up WinMPQ and open your patch_rt.mpq
There should be like a huge list.
The title screen, among other screens should have the glue folder in their paths
patch_rt/glue/title
Or something like that

Open up Broodat with winMpq. In the top right corner of the sceen, there should be a long white bar with nothing in it exept * There will also be a small arrow on the right side of the bar pointing downward. Click this arrow. A list will pop down with a bunch of endings (.bin, .cnt, .cv5, etc.) Scrol down until you find .pcx. Click it. after a few seconds, it will narrow the broodat list down to only those files that end with .pcx. Find "glue\title\title.pcx" Extract it, then open it with paint. Here you can edit the loading screen as much as you want.

Keep in mind though, that with paint you cant save it as .pcx, so you'll have to use another program to put it back into pcx format. Meanwhile, save the changed screen as a .bmp.

Goto http://www.irfanview.com/ There are other programs you can use, but this is the only one I know of. Anyway, after you've got it installed, run infranview, then click "open" and open the modified loading screen you made with paint. As soon as it's open, click "save as" and save as a .pcx file. Youre done! Well, almost. Put the loading screen into an mpq as you would do with any mod, and NOW you're done! Have fun! :)

The requirements:
• Must be 640x480 pixels
• Must use the corret color pallets. 256 colors.

Advance painting programs will automatically open files from the .mpq with the right pallets.
