How do you edit the sc-bw campain? Cuz I know theres a campaign.dat in arsenal 3, is there a way to decompile it or something? Special program for it?

There might be something in StarDat that you could extract using winmpq.

Ive looked in winmpq. NoTiN. SuCkOz. All I see is a compiled campaign.dat file. Im guessin its basically the campain elements, (pictures,scx,sounds) all compiled.

Well, the campaign tab in a3 is for the files it uses. I'm not sure what the campaign is compiled as, but it uses one of the files there. All the campaign is really, is a bunch of maps compiled into the mpq. I'm not sure what these files are but say you want to take the first protoss mission and make it ice, all you do is find the campaigns, open up the file for the expansion campaign number 01 and blam you can change it any way you want. Ask someone who has modded campaign where they are saved.

The campaign files are in the INSTALL.EXE file (I know, its not a mpq but it works just the same)
all the campaign files are in campaign\expprotoss(or protoss for regular)\protoss(map number here)\staredit\scenario.chk (or wav\ (wav name here) for map sounds)
example: campaign\expprotoss\protoss01\staredit\scenario.ch k

i still have an unanswered q (or im not reading correctly\understanding) , how do u get the maps out of the campaign data, this was my question from the start, HOW.

It's not in campaign.dat it's in install.exe, just extract everything that starts with campaign, and then use mpqcompactor to turn the protoss1 protoss2folders into mpqs, then rename the extension to scx.
