On WoW, I have a clan, and after a period of being involved I volunteered to create a site for it. I have several things already implimented; a gallery for displaying pictures, a user database, (semi) forum and a PM system. But, I'd like to make it as nice as possible, and I need some ideas. There should be at least 20-30 users who will normally access the site.
For example, polls where people can vote on most active members, etc.

If this will be used for recruitment, make sure to have an area for new recruits to see average member times (Like my guild has runs at 5:00 Server time for instances, etc), as well as any info they might like to have, such as the leaders, co leaders, and everything else.
Another thing would be to list common low level and midlevel items for your guildies, and where/how to obtain them if they need gear. All too often, do guildies of mine ask "What should I get?" and when we tell them, they have no clue. Someone started up a thread in the Druid forum about endgame items to try and shoot for, and why they're good... And I've even seen some that *I* want to get! Teaches you a lot quickly!
If you can get map files, or something, post those. Rather nice to have if you're lost, or something like that, you know?
Lastly, if it's just a casual guild, get a "Misc" forum, for pictures, stories, ideas, and everything else. Those're always nice.
My two cents for you ;)

P.S. If you need an example of a good site setup, lemme know.

Someone should host a teamspeak or ventrilo server, so everyone can talk, instead of typing every single word out.
And which server?
Im playing on Agamaggan at the moment, and so far, its pretty good.

Teamspeak is nice and all, but unless someone can have their computer setup all day, everyday... You'll have to get a server. And that takes money! >.>
TS servers and Ventrillo servers are nice and all, but not really required unless you do massive raids, where they are invaluable.

The clan is still small, but growing. We're excited to get moving as our population starts to rapidly gain levels, allowing us to do more dungeons together, but we definatly don't have enough to do some of the larger raids.

What level?
If you guys are over level 15+ im probly not going to be able to catch up, there for, no reason to make a new character with you people.
Firstly, it depends what group you want to hit:
You sound like you want a fun time and are one of the more casual players. As such, your members will probally support a forum service (WoW players a nortorious for not using forums). As said already, make sure to include a few interactive attractions. Polls, pictures, profiles, etc. Make sure to also have a recruitment section to showcase your guild.
In terms of some forum ideas, a key one would be a Profession forum. That way your members can update their levels there and post key items they can make as well as any supplies they need.
Good luck with it,
