Forsooth. I would help thee, but mine yonder powers of assumption do not stretch beyond the information thou hast giveth to me. If we examine said information, 'twould appear that you haveth a Warcraft III mod that does not work(eth).
More information is required in order to sustain my uber-problem-solving abilities.
EDIT: LTGF, you have simply got to tell me where you found that smiley. I've never noticed it on WB. And I too grinned uncontrollably for ten minutes.

He got it off the megadeath forums. If you quote his post, and look at the place where the smiley should be, you should find the link.

Make sure you have the map downloaded. To do this, go to the official website (http://www.dota-allstars.com/). Then, create a custom game in Warcraft. Basically, when you log in to battle.net, hit 'G' and the menu will pop up. Create a game, but choose the DotA map - make sure you can find it! People will join, start the game, and you are on your way.
This is the best answer that can be given with the lack of specificity in your question, Killer. If you want a better answer, then ask a better question.

People will join if and only if you happen to be the lucky one in 500 or so people who can not only create but actually have people join your game. otherwise, just search for a custom map and join one of the many dota games out there. Just know what they say.Also, they will kick you if you try to dl it. with <3

Dota Hates you. HATES YOU. Well I can't open DOTA on mine but I have RoC so w/e but i cant host games because b.net hates me but oh well.

RoC???? that would explain why you can't get it to work at all. It is a TFT map, not a RoC. If you want it to work, You gotta get TFT.

Come on people, there is a difference between being anoyed over small posts, and making fun of people becouse they arent good at the language, try speaking danish, just pronounce "Det gør jeg aldrig igen". Anyway:
Killer, your problem sounds like the data is corrupted or maybe you are trying to load an expansion pack map into the original game. Also having a map for a newer version of the game than the one you currently have will also course this problem. More ideas as for load problems could be the map is a very old version and some of its data is not compatible with the new version of the game (not sure if this even can be the case :D )

why don't people sort this problem out. It happened to me first time, so i simply read up a bit on the internet about port forwarding, and that sort of thing and had it sorted in an hour or so.
