This is a poem I wrote for my book, "The Crusade of the Bleeding Heart". The heroine of the story sings this poem while trapped in the tower of her father's palace. She waits for her lover to rescue her.

Hear me now, I call to thee
My heart calls out to you
Love brings now both you and me
To our dest’ny in the sunlight

Come to me and rescue me
From this untrue love
My heart cries out so fond of thee
E’en though we’re divided

You have love for me I see,
As my soul does for you
Seems it was revealed to me
End my lonely sorrow

After this song, a Celtic demon-witch (the Morrigan) arrives and tempts her. She submits to temptation and ends up being thrown out the window.

Book, eh? I'd love to read it.

Celtics aren't witches, they're pagan druids. Punk. ;)

Just for info the Forum Mommy's right, Celtics are pagans, just like Bulgarians were, if I remember right Celtics even mention us as Bolg's Tribe, or The Lands of Bolg, where Bolgars came from, the name under which the other patrt of the world called us back then :)

True, the Celtics are pagans, and yes they have druids, but the Morrigan is essentially a demon from Celtic mythology. That's all. And trust me, when I say BOOK, I mean BOOK. Not SHORT STORY. It's over 100 pages long.

Only 100-something pages? You mean like a novelette? ;)

Your poem was cliched and painful. Try using normal words that don't sound like they're from a wanna-be Gethsmane.

The list of red flagged emo shit-poem words:

thee
heart
Love
dest’ny

untrue love
heart
thee

love
soul
lonely
sorrow

This "poem" is meant to be sung with a tune. I had to think of something!

Oh, well songs aren't poems. The same rules don't apply, and I'm not a music critic (except for what I like, duh). Sooooooooooooooo...good luck?
