Alright, here's a brief description of what's going on. Sunday night I downloaded and burned to CD an ISO for SLAX Linux (http://slax.linux-live.org/). Not long afterward, I rebooted into SLAX, which runs from RAM, however the xconf tool did not properly configure the system and the keyboard shortcuts to kill the xserver did not work. So I was forced to shut off my computer by pressing the power button. Worried that this might be affecting my Windows and Debian installs, from this point on I booted SLAX with the "slax nohd" option, which prevents the system from automounting any hard disks it finds.
After a few more attempts, including manually configuring the xserver, I gave up on configuration and used the defaults, which gave me a usable 1024x768 screen (in XP and Debian I run 1280x1024, and the monitor natively supports a 5:4 aspect ration, as opposed to 4:3). So desbite the minor display abnormalities I encountered, SLAX ran fine and all was great until I decided to reboot into Windows.
Upon choosing Windows XP Home in the bootloader (GRUB, if that matters any), chkdsk came up complaining about possible errors, so I let it run it's tests before loading the OS. Due to some other responsibilities, I had to leave the computer and did not return until this afternoon, where a nice login screen was waiting. Naturally, I assumed chkdsk had corrected any errors and all was well. So I log in, wait a minute or two for everything to load, and notice some slight delay in the start bar and system tray. I then tried to open the Recycle Bin, and after nearly five minutes waiting for it to load, the window opened and quit responding.
Obviously, something is wrong. I've run Ad-Aware and nothing came up; SpywareBlaster is updated and all protection is enabled; SpyBot begins to scan but claims the user shuts it down after a few seconds. Here is where the red flags come up, as I would know if I clicked the button to stop a scan. So I'm looking through the running processes and see csrss.exe, which a quick Google search reveals could be either a vital system process or the W32.AGOBOT.BH Worm, depending on where it's running from.
Which brings us to here, with my lovely Hijack This! log. Note that neither csrss.exe or the obviously malivolent version crss.exe are present in running processes; however, I just opened task manager and verified that csrss.exe is running and clicking "End Process" warns me that it cannot be ended because it is vital to the system. Any entries in the log I found suspicious I have highlighted in red, but please glimpse at the rest as well.

I know WildTangent has some spyware/adware in their products, so I'm fairly certain it's safe to disable that one. And probably the one with no name on it as well and the one from the unknown IP address. So that really just leaves one or two I'm unsure on.

I know WildTangent has some spyware/adware in their products, so I'm fairly certain it's safe to disable that one. And probably the one with no name on it as well and the one from the unknown IP address. So that really just leaves one or two I'm unsure on.
Also, I thought I'd point out that most programs have not been affected by this. Firefox still loads normally and at about the same speed and runs fine. Most of Windows Explorer works fine as well. However, the start menu, system tray, and recycle bin consistently hang and/or crash Windows Explorer.
