So what's so great about it then!?
Its from apple. Therefore its automatically leet.
Most mice nowadays work on both systems anyways, so its not like Mac users haven't had a 2 button scroller.

It's slowly shifting to the default on most machines purchased.
.. It's a cool new product, those sort of things get released at a premium price, let alone the fact that this is Apple. Take a look at any other major company, they release slews of overpriced crap all the time. (ala X-Box 360 or perhaps X-Box $360).

I saw a review for this thing on G4TV, to quote their review...
"Its about 20 years too late"
In short, Micosoft beat Apple to the punch a LONG time ago :P
Actually, IBM beat Apple to the punch. :P

The only unique thing about this mouse is that it doesn't actually have 2 buttons, but should detect which part of the mouse you click with and give you the appropriate response. And it looks like a normal Apple mouse.

My brother purchased one, and I really like the way the roll ball operates on the computer, but the tactile feedback seemed too weird for me to use it. It seemed like I was recieving small shocks as I rolled the ball.
I much prefer my logitech Mx700.

Wouldn't everyone?

Thats all well and good, but you'd think with all the super tech they have around the would at least come out with a furry mouse.

A touch-sensetive mouse. Why don't they just make a touch-sensetive-interactive monitor? Still, looks real sleek and stylish.

It doesn't actually have two buttons. It has 4. The right/left sensor click, the ball is another button, and you can squeeze it for another configurable effect. I'm using one right now, and I definitely prefer it over an intellimouse (which I was using before). A scroll ball simply blows a scroll wheel away. It's less constricting and will scroll in 4 directions.
