There are programs you can download like WC Chart where you can input your replays and it will tell you what your average APM is. APM isn't everything though, it's just a measure of what you do in game to micromanage your units that calculates your hotkey usage, clicks on the screen, etc... it's not always accurate. Sometimes it takes only one precise click rather than 15 fast clicks to perform a single action. So, take it with a grain of salt.
Where can i find "WC Chart"?
tried gooooogling it...no luck :(

Just a tip, but if you want to increase your APM, getting new hardware helps (if you have the money to burn.)
Try getting more RAM (even 250mb can make all the difference -if you have crap comp), new mice or keyboard, or adjust mouse speeds.
These will raise your APM lots or atleast help.
I recommend the razer dimondback gaming mice,
or
logitech mx 510.
For the mouse pad, get the razer mouse pad.
NOT worth the money, but useful.
hehe thnx xod but...
Intel 3400+
2gig ddr2 running interleaved
120gig sata hdd
ATI Radeon x800 GTO
Razer Copperhead (The Toit green one :D)
woot...
Its not that i want to increase APM I just want to know what my apm is...
was playing UT2004 and saw my apm was 196 but that wont be the same as in war3... will it?

APM occurs in WC in "spikes", or sudden increases in activity due to specific game occurances. For instance, you're not going to have high APM in the first minute of the game because there's not much to do. In a large scale battle, your APM should go way up by comparison because there's a lot more you should be doing (casting spells, moving hurt units back, FF'ing hurt units, etc).
As Prozerran said, concentrate on winning before you concentrate specifically on APM. There are plenty of shitty players that have 200APM, and there are good players with <100 (axslav comes to mind).
