For those taking it, good luck on AMC tomorrow ;)
For those who don't know, AMC = American Math Competitions = a funny weird math contest. ;)
And we can also discuss answers on this thread afterwards! :D

The only reason I'm taking it is because we get to skip 2 periods of school if we do :D And I can play calculator games for 75 minutes ;)

LOL. Quotage!
Cortez is the name of my math teacher at Billy Fremd.
And I happen to enjoy math. I just barely qualified for the AIME last year. You need 100 points on the AMC to qualify, I got 100 points. :D I'm a feeble mind among the math nerds.

But you're one of the best at Fremd. Since Fremd doesn't care about math :(

Boo Billy Fremd. But seriously, that was funny, having just made the cut for AIME. WHen you got the highest score on the AMC, right? I'm feeble.

Just go to it anyway. Tell your teachers before school; say you're sorry and you didn't know about it before and you need to go. ;)

Heh, it beats a day of classes. Save the AP Physics field trip that eats up two periods worth. But hey, chicks dig singing guys in ties. :p

That was a bit harder this year... I took the 10, I'm going to take the 12B later this month. I had the calc teacher grade it after I took it, I made a pretty stupid mistake but came away with a 126.5. Last year I got a 117, 2.5 points below the AIME cutoff, so Im just glad I made it this year.
Problem 25 was a bitch... took me about 10 minutes.
Took the AMC today. Missed 1 Block. (Mm.. Block Scheduling.. =p)

Hehe, last year I got a 100 even (the exact cutoff). I was surprised it was that high considering some of the mistakes I made, like forgetting the properties of a triangle's sides... :p
