Wow, that's a great commercial. Goes to show you that with good directing and great choreography, you don't need CGI to do some amazing stuff. I think a lot of new film / commercial producers have forgotten that.

I doubt you'd be able to watch something from 20 years ago with any CGI in it and not be able to glaringly notice it.

Either this is a hoax or the music was added later. I googled some of the lyrics I heard and the song is "She Moves" by Karaja. I was able to read some of the German on the site and it says this song came out in the summer of 2002.

Regardless, it's fun to watch.

it wasnt one commercial it was serveral. this video was made recently with the music added.

how the hell can you not figure that out. 1) it was way to god damn long for 1 commercial and 2) the same text appeared several times. hello people, does this look like a commercial to you? no. it was several with the good bits taken out and compiled recently.

Anyline, what video was awsome. AWSOME!!!! I it was real, it took some talent, if it was choreographed, then it took some time to make it realistic. Either or, that was AWSOME AJ!!! :D

Before CGI and computers there where stunt drivers, this isn’t anything new at all, I can remember going to the royal show here in Perth and watching a stunt team from Holden perform such stunts right there on the field in front of an audience of 10000 people, was quite a few years ago now.
It’s much cheaper to do it with CGI then pay some one to risk there neck, so stunt men are a dying breed these days.

That makes me wanna buy a Gemini. Yeah, the bit with the two-wheeling looked kinda hoaxy, more like models than actual cars. The rest looked pretty good. If it is CG, which I doubt, they did a really good job making it look real. A+ for that one, AJ!

I've seen stunts like this before, but never seen a car stay on it's side wheels alone for such a long time. That took some skill. And while the video may be real and the cars driven by stuntmen, I'm fairly certain the car's were not standard factory model. Most stunt cars are stripped of nonessential equipment to decrease weight, and some even get souped up engines. But yeah, cool commercials nonetheless.

there are alot of points in the commercial where the cars are physically joined together.. but not CG..

though.. there are gumps that fully defies physics.. juke the boat jump.. and some of the slow floating landings.. everything else can be done without the need of computers
