Everyone's favorite Panther returns!!

That's right! No, not Snagglepuss (oh wait...he was a mountain lion or something...). The Pink Panther!! Actually, it's not the actual "Pink Panther" cartoon, persay, it's the movies with the French inspector. They're making a new one with Steve Martin, of all people.

Sorry to all of you who thought that this had to do with the cartoon panther. We love him dearly, but everything isn't always about him :P

I've heard about this for a while and Martin looks good as Inspector Clouseu :D

I wonder if they'll use the same original music (in which the saxaphone part is played by former Megadeth drummer Nick Menza's dad) or re-record it... hmm...

As much as I do like Steve Martin, this movie is a mistake. There are some things you just don't mess with.

Peter Sellers is Inspector Clouseau, Steve Martin is an actor playing Peter Sellers as Inspector Clouseau. ;)

Yeah Peter Sellers is great (but dead.) and everything Steve Martin touches as an actor never fails to be entertaining - I'm looking forward to the movie and hopefully Steve Martin will not disappoint and will deliver a great performance as Peter Sellers as Inspector Clouseau ;)

I was never a huge fan of Steve Martin. His work is alright, but he isn't one of my favorites. Hopefully he'll fit this role well enough to play a decent Inspector Clouseau, though I won't keep my hopes up. I hate when they take great movies and utterly ruin them with actors who don't fit the roles. The DaVinci Code comes to mind...Tom Hanks?! And whoever they got to play Sophie looks nothing like how I pictured her. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Sophie was supposed to be the hottest thing in all of France (Keira Knightley, anyone?). The lady they got looks like my grandmother...my dead one.
