It used to take like... 2 seconds, but now it takes like 5 minutes.

Why is this? Is there a way to fix it?

No, there is only one login server and at times of high stress you are basically queued for login, you have to wait for everyone in front of you to login or try again and hope that it processes your request. More people = longer login times for all.

Hmmmm, I've noticed it taking longer than before though, even when I log on during low-traffic times. I remember seeing some post by Blizzard about having some trouble with authentication. Anyone else know anything? I'm not sure about this, so let me know if I'm imagining things.

1.9 sux worse than anything Blizzard has ever done, they took a great game and choked the living shit out of it.

1.9.1 The so called "Hot Fix" for it just stuffed it up even worse.

Skipping characters all over the place, rep screens that are blank, talent screens that are blank and even stuff going missing out of peoples packs, and all Blizzard has to say about it :-

We have received reports that players are seeing other players skipping. This information has been forwarded to the appropriate department and is currently being investigated. Hopefully there not going to wait for next Tuesday before they release some thing to fix it. I really find it quite unplayable as it is right now.
