Have you run a virus scan anytime recently?

ALso... You need to uninstall firefox completely (if you want to save your bookmarks, search for bookmarks.html on whatever drive firefox/windows is installed on -- copy it to your desktop for later use).

Make sure you don't have any viruses (you can use Panda's online scanner if you need to) and then make sure to get rid of any left over firefox stuff, like profile info and stuff. You will most likely need to reinstall your theme and any extensions you used...

That or you have a really bad virus, I'm not to sure.

What version of windows do you have?
And has anything else happened lately that seems odd?

Yeah.

If you goto reinstall Firefox, make sure to completely remove any firefox folders from your hard drive first. Do a clean fresh install.

na, its Win ME

Of all the Windows OS's this one is the one that gave me the larger amount of headaches when dealing with it.

Maybe youve got an old version of firefox, as some of the earlier versions were buggy.

Hmm that might have been it. Get a firewall! Oh and completely uninstall all firefox or mozilla related things then reinstall.

Do you know if any of those don't work on XP? I've played (or seen) a lot of those games on XP. Your part at the end about "and all games i might/will get in the future" won't hold up much longer because a lot of companies will simply stop supporting Windows 9x/ME.

Windows is teh evil.
Very True.
If you want anything done just go home one day and do it. Installing windows only takes about 20min not counting formatting your hard drive.
But back to your question.
Go to download.com and find a good firwall. Then a spyware hunter (Ad-Aware works great for me) and some onboard virus scanner (I use AVG antivirus). Scan with both of these. Re-Install Firefox. Then install a good firewall (like zone alarm pro) so this doesn't happen again.
