Need help modding

i have tried heaps of stuff but i can't seem to get anything to work. i am trying to make a standalone .exe file but i can't get it to work. Please tell me what i need to download and where from. keep thing simple cause i'm only 13.

Well first you need moddin' programs, I'm sure you have that.
Other files you need, Java Runtime, WinMPQ, MPQDraft, MPQ Compactor

i have arsenal III, but how do i convert them to stand alone .exe files

Very simple
drag your mod folder (make sure you saved all your unit and weapon modifications in a folder named arr in your mod folder) onto the MPQCompactor Icon, an error message should appear, after you click ok, a txt file should appear in the MPQCompactor folder.
It should be a txt. file named MPQCompactor script

Now go to WINMPQ and go to file
Click Run Mo'PaQ 2000 Script and open your MPQCompactor Script you just created
That should compact your script into an MPQ file in your MPQ Compactor folder
Now go to MPQdraft, and click on create self running MPQ
Make up your mod name
and on the third tab, open up your MPQ file stored in your MPQCompactor folder
Second tab, You'll know what to with it
And there you go! a self running EXE!
that EXE should be in your MPQDraft folder
