At first I thought it was just this website. But, I have discovered, that anything... With colors {certain things} do not render. I'll show a few screenies for one:

Refresh
Close Browser & Reopen
/me shudders "Opens it in IE"
Even rebooting computer.

So, anybody else have this problem, or am I the only one? Also, how the hell do I fix it?

Specs:
Firefox 1.5
IE ??
Win XP

EDIT

I think I may have a virus. I rebooted for the second time, and realized my desktop is gone. Then, I get onto Firefox, and look around. I notice that other websites are not rendering either. So, maybe someone can help me out here. I went to www.staredit.net (http://www.staredit.net) you know, the "green and black" site. Yeah, Well everything is white and black. Here is what I mean:

If there is anything I can do, PLEASE!!! Tell me! :O

Try a virus scan.

Well, I tried a viruscan with 2-3 different viruscanners. And avast was the only one that picked up anything. I am goin to try a system restore to yesterday to see what will happen. Hopefully that will do it.

EDIT:

Did a system restore, all is well... I hope.

Try AVG (http://www.grisoft.com/doc/10/lng/us/tpl/tpl01) also. Imho, it's far better than Avast. ;)
'Customer' note: Have installed it into a friend's PC and he's real glad with it, along with the fact that it catched a few viruses that snook by at the time he had is Norton AV 2005 updating service expired.

Add: Recalled the TrendMicro (http://housecall.trendmicro.com/) online Anti-Virus scan site. :)
I would've added the McAfee one also, but it no longer works (redirects me to some place else at their domain). >_<

Panda Software (http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/activescan.htm) also has an online virus scanner which I've used on several occasions.

;) On the first post.

Well, I am looking into purchasing... *looks around... A viruscanner/firewall. I know I have mentioned this on serveral different occasions. But, the proof is in the pudding, and I realize that Zone Alarm Pro, sucks. So, here I am finally going to do something about it.

What should I look into getting, in order to protect myself?

From the looks of things it seemed like firefox was set to block images and not use css or script or something.

O_o

How wierd. I don't think there are any viruses that run around messing up firefox's ability to display colors and such, that would just be pointless, lol.

Well, it wasn't only with Firefox. It was with IE as well.

/me scorns IE, then looks around with a spiteful look!
