Well, I've noticed two things on Medivh: 1) Stormwind is now under perpetual attack and 2) the Horde and Alliance are allied in this "war" against the Qiraji and Silithid. We're supposed to collect huge amounts of supplies; metal, bandages, food, and the like, and give them in to collectors. There are also ambassadors in Ironforge and Orgrimmar, which are odd, considering they can speak the opposing faction's language. I can see an orc knowing common, but a dwarf speaking orcish? No.
Anyway... uh... /discuss, I guess.

I was too lazy to read up on it, whats the deal with Ahn'Qiraj?
Why should I give my copper bars to the collector when I could use them myself?
And whats with the guys with the blue question mark over their head, they're collecting (cant remember the name), whats the point of that?
The new paladin talents are nice, btw.

The Alliance and Horde are collecting supplies so the world event can carry on. If you don't donate, it goes that much slower. Both factions must meet the quotas supplied for the event to continue, and EVERYONE, whether Alliance or Horde, needs to donate. You don't want to lose the war against the Silithid and Qiraji, do you?
Factions don't give that much reputation, either. I was about 2% away with the Gnomergan Exiles for Honored rep (All I need with my Druid >.>), and yet, I gave them two full 10 stacks of things, and got barely the percentage I needed... Gave them the last 4 tokens straight, and got to Honored at .1% of reputation. That's skill.

What do you mean Stormwind is under attack? Do you mean the Horde's raiding it all the time?

Yes, I do. Seems like common sense, eh? No-one with a beef with Stormwind is close enough to sack it without having to go through Darkshire or Westfall.

Does this mean anything to a lowly level 11? I mean, I could help with copper bars considering I get about 100 at a time...

P.S. It seems like the servers have trouble making connections here lately.
You're supposed to be 'gathering supplies for the coming war' with the Silithid. The lore behind it is actually really good and very interesting.
The mats you're supposed to turn in are pretty high, but it's easily accomplished with both factions and thousands of players constantly turning things in. Either way, if you don't turn everything in in three weeks, the gates open themselves :P

Why give those things away if the gates open anyway...

Because it speeds up the event.
Because it speeds up the event, dumb ass.
Lay off the flames, skippy. I don't care if you are 'just joking,' or you do it 'all the time,' that doesn't matter to me. He asked a legitimate question, that even I, myself ask. Sure, the gates may open 'that much sooner,' but at the same time, I'd rather save my materials for more useful things to me. Expecially to an adventurer that won't be able to get into the instance for a few more levels.
You must understand that many players (Not all, and I'd assume less than half) don't have a level 60 character to go into the instance. They would almost not benefit from this at all. I'd say the level 60's should be the only ones collecting things, almost as a quest. Give minor rewards for those lower than 60 like rep, moreso than the 60's themselves who have had time to get that high.
But in any event, lay off your 'low blow' shots to others. Thanks.

Editted, and to tell you the truth... I originally thought the "dumb ass" unnecessary anyway, but I was too lazy to remove it, and besides... since when was I nice to people;)
