View Full Version : Any pro mappers out there?
I have a map concept that I would be willing to give a more experienced mapper. I thought it was interesting, but I'm not going to finish it and I was wondering if anyone wanted to finish up the map(or make a new one with the same concept). Ofcourse if you publish it I'd like to have the tiniest bit of credit. If anyone wants to take it I can pm you the map and you can tell me if you want to try it or not. So? Anyone?
What, nobody out there? Guess my 2 hrs of work will go to waste.
Would you mind posting your idea? I'm a little lazy about pming people.

Sure. I don't know if it's good or not, but I have the map if anyone wants to try and take the project.
Ok, so the concept is that you wait, say 15 times as long for 10 times the units. Also each player would have well fortified defenses. Units cost more so you have to be careful with ur resources. There would also be a artillery and a tank. I was thinking you would move a civ somewhere to start building. Bases would be imobile and you can't build most structures. If u lose a cc u die. Since there are no expansion areas you have a set number of resources. This makes a fixed rate of income and makes people focus on microing(i hope). Well that's sorta it. I have a map but since I'm not a good mapmaker it only encompases a few of my ideas.
So, anyone want it?
PS: the map is in a really low stage because I'm not good at it at all.
