I need to know what program runs a .pls file, such as stream.pls

I think (though I'm not positive) that RealPlayer can run them, but mine is being difficult and not playing the file. WinAmp might run it, but I'm not sure. I don't want to go the the arduous task of installing programs of this size that will turn out to be essentially useless. Any suggestions?

If not, then I'll need another media player that can run it. The question is: which one?

Well, we need to know the file types of the music files in the playlist. I do believe .pls files are text based, so you should be able to open it up in Notepad and see the filenames. If they end in .m4a, they can be played in iTunes, .wma can be played in WMP, and .mp3 can be played in either.

Ecthelion, I'm sure that those *.pls can be played (n' created) with Nero Media Player though. ;)

Or you could use Winamp to play anything.

Or MPC if your still having trouble.
