hello this is my first question in this forum, I started recently in modding starcraft. I used icecc only, and I can do some things, well, I could make a vulture that wen die, randomly, It stay in the map in flames for a while, and after it, explode normaly, but there is a problem, after the explosion, the fire stay on te ground for ever, and I want the fire on the ground after the explosion, but not for ever, only for a moment. How can make it? And how can make to apear a unit in flames for a moment when a firebat atack it?
Sorry for my english please!!!:D See you boys
For the vulture fire to disappear, go to the animation script of the fire you use and add an end animation script line after some wait.
For the firebat, use a target overlay or whatever it's called... like with attacks as ensnare.

AqoTrooper, I haven't actually heard of target overlays... I know that ensnare, plague and corrosive acid leave overlays on their targets, but I didn't realise that that property could be transferred to different explosion types.

Well, I'm not sure either, I didn't test it, just though it is logical
Even if it's not possible, Barato can still just do it like in the mod attached below.
