Well? Your thoughts on the matter? I honestly say that Nintendo basically have gotten the best deal there is. Rare's games for the X-box (all 1) has not been spectacular, not to mention the only game I'm looking forward to on the xbox is conquor.

So did Nintendo get screwed, or did Nintendo screw Rare?

Well...Alot of the Rare games for the Nintendo systems were good, so they kinda screwed each other.

Hmm, Nintendo screwed Rare, prolly they're both screwed:p. Since Gamecube and GBA came out Nintendo has been continuing its oldies like Mario and Metroid and made more games with a mix of everything.

N64 needed Rare. I mean N64 games were pretty good but I think Rare was pumping out the good ones.

I loved the N64 rare games. Goldeneye, Blast corps, Goldeneye, Banjo Kazooie and Tooie, Conquor and even Goldeneye! They were fantastic all of them. But after that I always found it went downhill, look what's out for the Xbox, i always liked rare, so i would like to see a good game come from them soon.

The fact that Rare actually made multiple games for Nintendo willingly and that they were awesome earns them 30 million billion awesome points considering N64 had very little good 3rd party support and the 1st party games were on par at best.

Yeah, perfect dark was awesome, especially because they put in Reiner of Game Informer (my game mag). Endless hours of killing Reiner = happy OboeGuru. :D

Rare was an awesome developer. Fucking awesome, everything they put out was great. Now what happened? They certainly arn't that awesome anymore and tons of their great staff bailed on them.

Meh... Kinda sounds like Blizzard too... :P

Rare = Blizzard in the console arena well before blizzard decided to go back to consoles.....

I guess it was just there for them to have fun. I think one of the Area 51 levels was the only one without cheese, or atleast with cheese that no one could ever find.
