I'm sure the answer is very simple, but I can't find it... lol

When I'm connected on battlenet I can create a public game but nobody can join, that's really boring. I've check the following things:

My connection to Battlenet works... lol
My firewall is off
I can join any other personalised maps without any difficulties (and download maps)
I can join normal 1v1 2v2... games
I can play personalized game with computers or alone

One or two more things: my version of WIII is Frozen Throne 1.14, my operating system is Mac Os 10.2.8, my connection is ADSL 300.

If someone know how to configure or simply has an idea let me know plz plz plz

Even though your firewall is off, you might still be behind one.. (Hardware-firewall in router or something else)..

Try this:

Right-click My Network Places on your desktop.
Click Properties.
Right-click the main connection from the list that you computer connects to the internet through (ex: Cable Modem). If you are unsure of which this is, read Step 5.
Click Properties.
Click the Advanced tab and click the Settings button. If this button is shaded, then you picked the wrong connection.
Under Description of Service type WC3 or Warcraft III; the name doesn't mattter.
In name of computer or IP address, type the name of the computer you want to be able to host on or its IP addreess. If you don't know the name or IP address, then search the internet on how to find this. Remember that you're looking for the name of the computer you want to be able to host on if you have more than one computer on a network.
In Internal and External port number, type 6112. Also verify that the TCP bullet is hit.
Close the three windows by selecting Ok.
Now get on Battle.net and host a popular map to test. If it doesn't work, then call the technical support number for your router.
Good luck :)

letsplaytd, he's using a Mac. I'm pretty those are instructions for Windows XP.

mystery, you most likely have a router and need to forward a port to your computer from the router. You will need to forward any one port in the range 6112-6119 for both TCP and UDP traffic to your computer. If you give up the brand and model of your router (may be combined with the ADSL modem), we'll try to help more.

Also, I'm moving this to Warcraft Town Hall.
