Could you imagine? That shark is all..."Dum dum dee dee dum...where can I stop to sleep...hmmm...OMG WTF LEGGO--OW! WHAT'S YOUR FUCKING PROBB--UNGGHG!"

The octopus is smart, though, it only picks on the 3-4ft ones...

You guys see that thing change color when it lashed out at the shark?

As I read the title of this thread I was debating whether it was a misspelling of octopus or octa-puss O_O.

Just for purposes of your education, sharks indeed DO what passes for sleep. However, the place that they sleep needs a moving current. But it's good that you're paying attention in school (for the first part of the lesson, anyway).

I actually did not learn that in school, it was either from the Animorph series, or this one book I used to have that had alot of interesting, funny, and random facts. Or both. What I want to know, is why someone with a camera just happened to be there, to see those two monsters fight, and why they didn't try to get the octopus hired as a professional wrestler. I would hate to face that thing without at least two phaser rifles, and personal deflector shield, but then I have this strange, unreasonable fear of stuff that can horribly and painfully kill me.

O_oGiant squids DO attack and kill sperm whales, and sperm whales attack and kill giant squids, although your chances of getting a fight between them captured on film are somewhere between, "yeah right" and "you have a better chance of swimming to Mars"

I can swim to Mars...

Anyway. That's definately not something I'd want to meet in a dark coral reef... *shudders* And yes, I did see the way it changed colors, and got larger. I commend the person that shot the clip.

If you paid attention to the audio this was taken in a zoo. They moved the octapus into the bigger tank with the sharks -- they thought that it's camoflague would keep it from getting attacked. Then the zoo keepers started finding shark carcasses so one night they stayed up late to see what happened.

But that is funny, in a sick, scary, carnivorus sort of way. The octopus was killing off the sharks. Probably so it could have the tank all to itself.

That could be a Horror movie...or a comedy, either one works

It's like Jaws: meant to be horror, but because of crappy special effects and a sucky robotic shark, it's more of a comedy!

No no no, if the shark gets a cool name like Jaws, the octopus has to be called something like Sucker.

JAWS VS SUCKER

:\ just not feeling it...
