Hi everyone!
My name is Serenade (From clan SCAG) and i'd like to introduce myself to this SC community. :)
I hope to make myself a useful addition here and will hopefully be making several posts in threads that interest me in the near future.
In the mean time, feel free to look at my profile and use this thread to ask any questions about me. (The first question is usually 'are you gay' to which, the answer is 'yea i am, do you have a problem with that?' :\ ) I hope this forum is discrimination free..
My fave. race is Zerg and I love Anime, especially Megaman right now, he is da pimp lolz. :P
I have a problem with ZvT on LT, is there anyone out there that can give me a hand? (In the non gay sense, I don't know any of you that well yet!! lol, it's a joke).
Anyways I hope to hear from you soon and I also hope to see some of you say hi at the SCAG forums!!

Welcome to Warboards,scag_serenade. I hope you will enjoy time here, and post more than I do (I may not log in much, but I visit EVERY day that I have access). Other than that, just don't take everything seriously. Warboards is a place FULL of lighthearted people, myself included. If you have any questions, feel free to post them. And now, for the rules that I know:
1) Don't make the mods/admins angry.
2) Nobody like it when a thread is revived, so please don't. The time that I know of is 1 week or more.
3) hacking and such (i.e map unlockers) is frowned upon.
4) Have a good time.

Map unlockers are totally not frowned upon. Blizzard themselves say that they are ok. In fact, people shouldn't be protecting them in the first place as they ARE property of Blizzard, not the person who made them. (Read the ToS).
Oh, quick ? Serenade. I just want to know how you feel about people using the term "gay" in a degrating matter. I know my cousin doesn't mind much (he's homosexual) but he's also a very laid back guy.

Sikawtik; I don't mind the use of the word, I understand it is almost a global (western world anyway) slang term for degrading something. I don't take offence. Many people can't help but throw it into a conversation.
You can edit your signature via the User CP.
That's the top link in that silver nav bar on the upper left corner of your screen, that should be following you as you scroll down through your posts.

As long as the forum is made up of people, it won't be totally free of discrimination. But by and large, I think you'll find most of the members welcoming.
Welcome to WarBoards! To change your sig, hover your mouse over the menu icon in the top left of your browser. Select "User CP." In the panel to the left on the resulting page there will be a link calle "Edit My Signature" or something of that sort.
Welcome to the fun! If you ever feel the need to get into Diablo 2 or such, we have forums for that as well (Seeing as how SC and Diablo both come from Blizzard... Both games rocking hard :P ), and if you want to learn to Roleplay, feel free to hit me up. I'd be glad to help you ^.^

Welcome to the boards! If anyone discriminates against you for your sexual orientation then they ought to be banned IMO. I think you'll find the forums to be rather inviting! Welcome once again!

Yaqoob, I removed serenade's direct link to the SCAG forums, and insisted that he post such a link in his signature. We have rules against advertising in posts, or posting just to spread around urls like that, you've been here for a while you should know that.
Xenon & anyone that saw his message, that is totally unacceptable. In jest or otherwise I will not accept that sort of thing here. If you just want to toss a bunch of words around and put flamebait all over the place, there are plenty of other places to do it at.
Why can't you all just accept new members and try and have a little honest-to-betsy fun with one another?

@ (Sorry I forget your name) - the post @ Scag forums where I used derogatory terms; just because i may be a homosexual does not mean that i can not use the same derogetory terms that everyone else does. I believe i have already noted that the term 'gay' does not offend me. the same goes with the other forms of putting someone down using gay terms.
my fave. cookie...mmm can't go past the good ol chocolate with choc chip!!
