In 4 hours I will be marching in our hometown Christmas parade. Yay for 4 miles of a military style march!

If anyone else here is playing in their Christmas Parade, let it be known.

Seriously though, have fun. Isn't it early for Christmas parades? Around here, they start in about 2 weeks or so. Not that it matters, I can't stand parades.

Neither can I. Maybe it'll be more entertaining when i've been playing for a hour, tired, and have a 15 lb. Suzaphone on my shoulder..?

Try drinking. Its either gonna make it fun for you. Or fun for the people watching.

And how about slapping tap dance shoes on for the march, then you can dance a little gig. lol

good luck though

My left shoulder starting hurting really bad, and then it went numb. :D

It was fun!

Our School (Springfield High) and the other school (Thurston High) had a drum-off while we were practicing. They got owned so hard. A percussionist named Matt had an awesome quad solo, and another guy named Zack broke his sticks playing.

IN other words, WE WIN!

A parade for Christmas..... I've never heard of such a thing, we don't have that stuff here, the only parades we have are army parades I think, oh and the Parade for the National Guard ( A specialised group of soldiers, like the marines but they protect the main things in the capital ).

Anyway good luck with the parade, hope you break yours or someone else's leg.

The local highscool here had a Christmas parade earlier last week. I don't really understand why...

The one at home was on the 20th of November and the one here in Waterloo was the same day, as was the one in Toronto

You mean that place America burned down in the War of 1812? Yarg.

And uh... no christmas parades for me. Hell, I don't even think the base is large enough for a full-scale parade, and I don't go to Jacksonville(henceforth known as "town")for anything except if I wanna take a tour of the St. Johns River or go to the museum.
