While running around in Scarlet Monastery today with some lvl 35-40 guildmates, and noticing the large amount of Horde, I got this idea.
What if you could have reputation with the opposing faction, and reputation with the Scarlet Monastery?
Think about it. The Horde and Alliance aren't formally at war in the game. If they were, Booty Bay would have been ripped to pieces by now, and the Horde and Alliance would be having bigger battles than battles over resources or border disputes. So, maybe you could work up a reputation from Hated to Neutral with the opposing faction. It would allow for PvP to still occur and to let you take on Horde/Alliance guards if you wanted to, and it would make for some unique experiences.
The Scarlet Crusade. Well, maybe some of them aren't "kill everything not in the Crusade". They'd have camps set up all about Azeroth, and you could increase your reputation with them. They could be like another Argent Dawn, or Bloodsail Buccaneers, and you could gain reputation with them by doing quests with these neutral camps and killing soldiers of the Scourge.
Anyway, what do you guys think?
