View Full Version : Happy Turkey Day!
Well it's that day. Thanksgiving. Today a lot of people go and visit their families. Others take time out to hang out together. Some people don't do anything.
Things I'm thankful for this year:
1. For getting the chance to finally moderate some forums. It's been an eye opener, but worth it. Meeting members and being looked up to was kind of fun. There were bumps in the road, but it happens.
2. Dating Stacey. Although we broke up, I learned a lot from it. We're still friends, and I hope it stays that way.
3. Getting World of Warcraft, finally. I've played the game, and loved every minute of it. Thank goodness I'm sort of good, too XD
4. For great friends, old and new. A lot of older friends have seemingly resurfaced in my life both on forums and in real life. Some newer ones have also proved to be really great, too. Thanks guys and girls for all the greatness! You know who you are :D
5. All the accomplishments I've done. There's a few that I remember, such as being the one that some of my friends come to for help, while others are solo objective things, like grades. Thank God I'm getting somewhere.
Here's to another year of great things, and I hope you're all having a great one.

P.S. Feel free to use this as a discussion thread or "What are you thankful for?" kind of thinkg >.>

I'm thankful for ... I know this sounds lame, but pretty much everything. I had a rather smooth year, and especially nice last couple months. Got a hot girlfriend (but we broke up yesterday, sadly... I'm thinking we can work things out though... just maybe...), got my driver's license, have a job, got a 3.5+ for the first trimester of school (that's without ALL the grades entered in, so I'm hoping to be bumped above the 3.6 line...),
So yeah, a lot of things.
P.S. The thread's title is an exact duplicate of my current MSN name, you stalker! :P

Who the hell named it Turkey Day? It's Thanksgiving, damn it!
Now that that is out of the way, might as well list a few things I'm thankful for.
1) I'm thankful for JenJen being there, she steered me away from my alcoholic path. I'll always remember that, and not many people have taken the time to help me like that. That, or I haven't been paying attention. Anyway, thanks, Jen.
2) Hitting lvl 60 in World of Warcraft and becoming the bane of the Horde in Alterac Valley.
3) The recent promotion I got.
4) The opportunity to be here and post with some of the nicest people I've ever met. This is easily the awesomest forum I've been to, and the awesomest I hope to go to. To all my friends on here, thank you for being there. To the admins, good fucking job. To everyone else, vote Caliph Skippy;)
I'll probably think up more/add more details to my current ones in the future. Until then, happy thanksgiving/turkey day/whatever the hell you want to call it.

We dont celebrate Thanksgiving.
I hope you all burn and die. And the Turkey too. (not die, though, since its already dead. But burn, yes.)

What's always fun is the pardoning of the Thanksgiving Turkey, because now the Turkey gets to die in a cruel and unusual way (because of the way they're bred). ^_^

They should put a little pilgrim hat on the turkey when you buy it at grocery stores, or a Native american cheif's hat.
