Some of it's remnants, Stukov mainly, but I'm sure they'll be united for common goal with Raynor's Raiders.

I believe it will.

Blizzard released a wallpaper for Starcraft: Ghost, which has a CG of one of the areas that will be part of the story. In the middle of that picture was a flag of the UED on the flagpost.

Now, the question is whether or not it's going to be the remnants of the first UED fleet that never managed to leave the Kop'rulu sector, or if it's actually the second UED fleet that's come into the region...

In Broodwar, correct me if im wrong, but wasn't Stukov shot in the face when Duran duped you and sold you to the zerg? in that installation mission?

There was supposedly a secret mission in Starcraft 64 that reveals that Stukov had resurrected through zerg infestation.

Blizzards also made a ums that had "Infested Stukov" as a guest appearance.

Most people are saying that Stukov was too powerful to just leave behind, so Kerrigan might have infested him some how.

Actually I think a fan made that map. The maps in the Blizzard site was submited by SC fanes.

I think a couple of mission where you try to shoot down Infested Stukov could be be fun, but it would ruin the story in StarCraft 2.

The UED should be in Ghost, it could add more drama...

It is always a possiblility... SC:G is supposed to cover a large time line in a very short span... so I would assume Nova works for Mengsk and helps or kills UED personel... but I would doubt that the UED would play a big role in the game... so hey.

I agree Aquarian, it's some time after BW and the UED was going out so there might be some small group of them.

Yes he did... and SC:G takes place during the first SC campain, and then again in some of the BW happenings.

No he didn'y DuGalle did... and SC:G takes place during the first SC campain, and then again in some of the BW happenings.

UED's tough enough based on their suicidal attacks back in Broodwar, being back is a big possibility supplied by the human's natural, evergrowing desire for revenge and the occassional: "Be the savior"

I don't know wheather to hit you or explain it to you... the UED, or United Earth Directerate, is the leading human government in the future. But people use UED to signify the fleet that was sent to the Koprulu sector to claim it as Earths own backyard. And it happened in the Brood War Expanstion pack.

Common mistake... it takes place during the first SCgame and into BW. Or so we have been told by some of the Blizz members.

Wrong.It's Underwear Eating Dictionary.That's why in Broodwar,Artanis was attacking the UED to save the poor Underwear wearing Protoss and the occasional zergling ;)

It was expected to be after BW... alright... I need to study the storyline more. Starts in the first campaign of SC and into Broodwar...
