How do i play replays?

Download the latest patch from Blizzard's SC Page (www.blizzard.com) and install it.Then goto the SinglePlayer menu and you'll see Replays at the bottom.

only if you put them there

Goto the map folder in your SC directory.Then you'll see a folder called "Replays".Put all your Downloaded replays in there.

There is another app that allows ya to load replays into SC-BW by right clicking and that after opening'em in the program. Btw, it's called BW Chart (http://bwchart.com/). ;)

And I don't know if it will suit your specific needs, but sometimes folks learn some of the BO's (aka build orders) from inside the replay by watching it inside BW Chart. :shiftyl:

hmm for some reason when i put the replays in my folder and i go in bw and go to the replays section nothings their

Are the replays from SC or the BW CD? If they're from SC, most likely they can't be played from within BW. The inverse is easily done, though. ;)

There's also PGTour (http://www.pgtour.net/) for the replays. ;)
Although ain't quite sure if WGTour (http://www.wgtour.com/rep.php?datab=broodwar) or even GosuGamers/ProGamers (read, never too sure which is better of these later two) can also help with along in that matter.

Furthermore we can always trust good, ol' Google (http://www.google.pt/search?q=starcraft+replays) for it, though. :angel:
