Although we (most fellas around) generally don't like money maps that much, there a re a few occasions when they're fun to play with. *Reminds those SC non-thinking wannabe days* :rolleyes:
And isn't that map restriction a tad much? Just so ya know there could be good places out there in the SC-BW community with hella melee maps. Not that I'm much of a multi' melee player anyway, but wth... have felt that it had to get outta my chest. ;)

Yeah, Luna and R-Point are fun to play on.
Can't wait for the next season's mappack to come out. Some of those new maps are looking pretty good.

Ya limiting people is not good but if I don't put a limit around people will start naming maps that no one ever heard so i decided to put up the most popular/balanced/famous maps out there for you to choose.
As for myself I like Nos. I hate Luna 'cause I am a Terran push whore and the way Luna is setup...I can't push and am forced to do explosive...damn

Nostalgia is fun, but I wish it had a geyser in the natural (I'm a Zerg player).

hohoho most players hate nos 'cause there is no gas at the nat...I am a slow paced player(250 apm T) and I really can't adopt maps like Azalea where you get massive resource in the beginning and pump units out and micro like mad...can't take care of everything. Nos is slow paced(or at least I can force my opponnets to play so!) which is suit for me :)

250 apm is just fast enough for a terran, and if someone forces me to micro I won't be able to manage.

250 apm is spamming, no exceptions on anywhere except fights etc where you need high apm. My friend has 230 apm and he's a T, I have maybe 140. Still I do everything better and faster than him. Which is spamming? AVERAGE APM Doesn't count that much, it's the apm you get microing

Well, I suppose it would be luna if it has to be PGtour.
For 1v1s, non pgtour, I enjoy Binary Burghs.
And for 2v2-3v3-ffa, me and friends really like New Gettysburg Spaceport and Jeweled River

All apm has nulls(spamming), and at a higher apm, you have more spamming.
With 140 apm you can barely take care of everything. A few harassment and you will be crippled.
As for beating your friend...this is strategy game not micro game. If you made tanks and he massed marines...of course you are going to win.(for example.)
Hall of V is such an evil map...bet you are zerg.

As for my playing, I never have over 800 even if I have mass exps, I micro well, And I can multitask easy and build units all the time while microing. In that stuff all the time I have about 400 apm, but there are points where I don't do so much, only macro mostly where my apm drops

It gets boring when you're on your 5000000000th time on it...all the newbs seems to love and hug that map.
Well its the most played map on pubbie, and they usually wanna play on something they know well. Even with me, I play the best IMO on lt, and it's BALANCED.

And about LT, it is kind of imba towards T. That's why I prefer luna over it. Oh, and by the way, I found this interesting: the imbalanced map contest.

My average APM can be as low as zero when im playing with friends, but during battles it reaches 140-170. Highest ever was liek 201. so.. Yeah.
My average ends up at like 75 >>

It's hard to get a good mark in 2v2 on PGT...a good random partner is hard to find while your opponent has been practicing with each other for many months...

No no, close.ads, I normally have multi-tasking ingrained in my mindset when playing. When BG was talking about having 0 APM, I was just saying that I'd have to consciously *not* multi-task.
