Hiya! Just found out about warboards, and wandering what everybodies favorite race to play is? I personally like Terran ,but let's see who wins the majority! Also, sorry if this has been done before, but looked back a few pages and didn't see it :P

Terran, I can't play Protoss or Zerg to save my life.
Terran.
I like to play with the others too, but i'm just hade the larva of the Zerg, and the pylons at the Protoss.
There's nothing like sending 4 nukes to your enemides base :D

true, i Like the Terrans because the zergs are just stupid to use you have to create overlords and you can only make 3 things at a time because the lair only creates 3 larvas, and the Protoss are good because they have shields but the pylons just suck

Year, if you kill all the pylon in the middle of 6 cannons, the cannons is waste of minerals :P

yea, but i was playing right now and i realized that protoss are good because you don't have to wait for the building to finish to give another command...unlike the Zergs or Terrans.....but i Still like Terrans more :D

Ok,you can make more hatcheries no?Plus,making 3 units at a time is quite good at the begining of the game because you can have 3 drones at the time while the Terran and Toss can only have one at the time.And,hatcheries aren't very costly anyway.
Well,you can always build more than one pylon no?
All and all my fav' race are the 'Tossies. Shortly followed by the Terrans and last but not least, Zergies. ;)
I really loved the Zerg when starting to play SC but now ain't that of a masser (*Duh* lost playing mass control skills), and became more of an abillities abuser. :smirk:

yes you can build more than one hatchery, but also you can buld more than one barrack...also building more than one hatchery then evolving to lair and so on, takes time and resources, its better to build barracks where you can put up to 5 marines or firebats at a time, while in the zergs you have to wait until the hatcheries creat the larvas or the probe creates the pylon ...as I said terrans are my favorite but it has some things that zergs or protoss are best at, thats why there are 3 different races....
Like they say in PR "Para los gustos los colores"...welll if you don't know spanish that means "for the looks the colors"..or something like that.. ;)

Why would you upgrade more than one hatch? They spawn larva at exactly the same speed, after all. If you macro Zerg well and micro it well, it is deadly. Flanking and spells are essential.
I'll play you 1v1 anytime PRTerran0513 ZvT to prove my point.

Protoss is my favorite, but they take forever to create units and stuff, and then there is the whole pylon thing, Zerg you can mass fast and cheap, but they are weaker than the other races, and I like doing Terrans the best, they are easy to build and not too expensive, and you dont have the limits of creep or pylons or overlords or larva, Protoss are the strongest, but they cost alot and are slow to make, Terran is the best in my opinion, not to weak, not to expensive
Terran mostly because they were the only race who's tech tree I memorize. I don't have the Zerg upgrades memorized and Protoss I have to read the building names to know what they do... I like playing the other two races but I seem to suck with them...

Try playing the game properly...There is no use for evolving the hatcheries.

And ain't quite sure but in evolved Hatcheries, the Larvaes seem to pop out nore quickly, even if it's a rather tiny difference in it's spawing time. :confused:

And as to the larva spawn rate, you can time it against the build speeds of SCVs and Probes. I made a quick test map with a hatch, lair, and hive with no larva, and a cc building an scv. Victory condition is set to when z controls 3 larva and when t controls 1 scv.
And guess what, the scenario time was 0:20!

Imho, you should've done the test to compare the Hive, Lair and Hatchery spawning times instead. The 1st one to get 3 Larvaes would've won. But wth, that's how I would've made it. And eventually will, this wkend. Don't worry, I'll link the map for ya fellas to see the results (even if I'm wrong :P). :)

My favorite race would be ZeRgLeRz I mean the lurkers and garurdians are a real pain and the ass and they have nydus canals to tele and the hydras are really good and cheap and best of all the ZerglingS! the fast lil fellows

the covenent are more like protoss, even though they have the cheap grunts. it's the tech. i think the zerg would pwn them anyway. too many charging melee units.

zerg could kill covanent and zerg could kill flood and protoss could do it too but human could just crush terran so badly it would be funny
