This ever happen to any of you...

Me and my friend just watched a replay, and everyone ended up dieing via comp >.<

However, after everyone was gone, and the replay should have ended, the comps were still playing, allied.

This ever happen to any of you? (or any other stupid glitches...?)

Yes, often enough. These "phantom replays" as we have dubbed them some time ago, exist due to changes in patches and difference in online and offline AI.

Becuase the computer runs from an AI and not individual commands (you'll notice the lack of an APM for computers in BW Chart), it is capable of running continuosly in a replay if something like Hunta stated was to occur.

They don't use allied victory, duhh? And how did you get to see ONLY the comps playing? You should drop out and can't see it after every "human" are dead.

That's the point of the thread. It's a glitch in StarCraft. The replay doesn't end until the current AI script ends or loops or whatever it does happens. If you lpay a game where you face a computer and you leave or die while the computer is alive, the computer will keep playing in the replay, sometimes adding a half hour of pointless computer map roaming to a replay.

Just because im curious...

When we left the game, and the game 'ended'... Does the computer 'step in' and continue playing while you have long since left the game... Or does it play when you play the rp? Just wondering.

Also... Its the same thing on different computers... in case no one knew that :D
