Sound problem in FT.

I keep getting the same recurring problem when playing FT.
The sound disappears, well not all of it , I can still hear the unit commands but no music, or base is under attack etc.
When I close the program and restart everything seems to be fine.
Anyone had a similar problem?

I know this is horrible advice, but have you tried reading the "troubleshooting" sections that came with WCIII, or otherwise tried to get advice from Blizzard? This thread should be moved to the WarCraft forum, 'cause the regulars there would probably have more of an idea than the rest of us.

What sound card do you use, and do you have the latest drivers? Also, under the options -> sound menu, try disabling EAX, Miles 3D emulated sound, etc if you can.
