simple question can anyone get me a link for a place i can order a Linux version of sc???

There is no special StarCraft version for Linux, you can and must use your Windows version. You do need an emulator as well, preferably Wine:

That's how I would've done anyway (get Windows emulator). :)
Have tried Ubuntu a couple of months ago and was quite pleased with it although it was a tad confusing in the 1st couple atttempts. But won't use it anyway, since sometimes I'm not the only one to use my PC and it might get stressful to that person (plus I didn't want to have dual OS booting due to HD limitations). :P
