i know that starcraft will
work on mac comps but it
is on the same cds and
starcraft and brood war or
do i have to buy a different
set of cds to run it is a mac

A different set of cds,I think.Remember to always check the system requirements.If they allow Macintosh computers,well,go ahead.But,you'll have to get another set for mac most likely.

They use the same CD's. From what I know the OS just recognizes which files are fit (read, compatible) to it's need and sets up those leaving the rest untouched. ;)

But none the less some Mac' user(s) might step in and give a more accurate insight than mine. *Looks up to AJ for one* :poke:

you might want to DL the OSX native installer from blizzard support site.

It works on a mac with the same CD's. Nothing more to say, really.

Mac + Any Program = Hours of troubleshooting :)

huh? acually, when I played with a mac, it ran pretty smoothly, and there was no troubleshooting to be done at all.... then again, I don't use the mac much... but it works okay with starcraft ^.- For normally a windows user though, it's kind of tricky to get used to with only one button... but that's another story.

if you have trouble getting used to single button, use a multibutton mouse. mac has been supporting them for ages...

seeing as this has become a mac bashing thread:

Mac sux because:
expensive
less mainstream support

Mac rox because:
its just stable.
it just works.
its elegant (arguable)
