What about that big bird at the end of Shadow of the Xel'Naga (the second Starcraft book)? That was supposed to happen after Brood War, and Blizzard might take that into their storyline? Your thoughts?

It met up with another big bird....
That was one of the few books I have ever read!

perhaps that had something to do with the Xel'Naga? Perhaps their last experiment, that could reincarnate the most powerful race in the universe?

I wouldn't consider everything in that book StarCraft canon.

That book was so poorly written, it's physically painful. Blood well FARMERS could not bloody well hold off a bloody ZERG SWARM without the use of NUKES or LARGE AUTO-DEFENCE ENCAMPMENTS.
Not to mention that world is so unrealistic it's almost laughabul.

Well seeing that its not earth...its not realistic to us. The people on that planet might think earth is unrealistic.
Plus these are farmers..not an army of marines waitin to get themselves killed over a little zerg....

Okay, just to clear it up, that book had nothing to do with SC. None of them did, save for the first one. That book was just a spewing pile of.... well, poorly written. It is not part of the SC storyline. Those three books were each written by different authors.

Just to add to what WhiteKnight said the last book is published by a diffrent publishing company than the others.

True, I noticed that too...but it isnt that bad of a book once you realize that it is totally off the original SC storyline.

That book happened between the original Starcraft and Broodwars. If nobody belives me, think of this: Edmund Duke leads is Alpha squadren to near demise... Edmund Duke was killed in Broodwars. Also, I doubt that will make an appearance... in all the warcraft books, if they fit into the storyline, they are very briefly summed up in the manual. It's possible that it will, but I think Blizzard would be a bit iffy to just throw in something that was never mentioned during Broodwars into the fray, especially considering all that has happened (examples: fall of the dominion, Duke's fall to the Zerg, and Kerrigan's neglect to do anything about it- very unlike her.)
Varying as far from the forum as possible, Geckat we already know you wrtoe Spoken 0,1,2,3. Why bother putting it as your little line thingy?
