So I was looking around and saw that Wikipedia has let people start there own Wiki. So I was thinking of starting our own Starcraft Wiki. Anyone in?

Plus, Wikipedia already has a helluva lot of StarCraft stuff already; some of which I've added to in the past, :).

I agree, there should be a Starcraft Wiki. They already have so much information that they very well could make one.

i've seen an unreal wiki, but
building a starcraft wiki would
be really hard even if there is
a TON of info out there 1st you
need some one or a small group
of people doing web codeing
and actully building the web site,
2nd you need people to get all
the info in 1 place and sort it onto
verions catigories like maps, mods,
fan fiction, ect. and then once it
is sorted then the web deziners
will have to build the web site from
the ground up(or in this case the
home page up) then testers would
have to test it and make sure there
are no probs with any of the sections/links
then the web deziners would add
funtions like a build in search engin,
fourms, so on and so forth

I'm not sure what you guys are up to... but there already is a StarCraft wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/StarCraft

And it's rather accurate and complete too.

StarCraft.org has something related to a StarCraft wiki up its sleeve... but I shouldn't talk now just in case.

A Starcraft wiki would be entirely devoted to Starcraft. It would be able to go into depth about the game. Yes, it would be a challenge and it would take time to create, but imo it would be a widely accepted improvement. There could be pages on in-depth strategies for the noobs, and could also tell the whole starcraft story for those who want to read it, as well as in-depth unit descriptions. Heck, there could probably even be fanfictions posted if anyone wanted to.
