Map protection is pretty much ecrypting stuff, if u can get the proggram they used to encrypt it or a special proggy for Unprotecting W3 maps, then yes u can

Or as 'someone' would say... Hex edit for it.
/me :worship: that member's snappy reply * :)

Edit add: I'm usually against removing protections, since most folks use it with stealling purposes rather than learning ones. :poke:

Map protection is basically Damaging the map content which are not used by TFT engine but used by WE, using a Third Party program, This makes the map run but unopenable in any sort of Editor based upon WE. Or WE itself. Usually it becomes difficult as the map contains a lot of stuff that is Unused by Game, but usable by WE, and it's very time consuming job to open each file located inside the map and find which section is "damaged" and correct it... So practically there is almost no way of removing the Map protection

It's doable by Hex editing as it also happens to be in SC-BW mapping... but a hella troublesome load, so that's not for the usual :lame: map ripper. Hence my comment upon it. :D
