So I decided to check up on the good ol' WhatPulse chart and to my surprise I have floated to the top of the list. Although how much I use my computer scares me, I hereby claim my rightful place on the throne as

For those of you who have not yet joined the Warboards WhatPulse army, now is an excellent time to get started! WhatPulse is a TINY program that runs in the background of your computer and counts the number of times you press any key on your keyboard. It then uploads that number to the WhatPulse database, and if you join the Warboards team, adds it to the total Warboards score. We are currently ranked in 670th place - but if more people join, one day we will be number 1!!

What will you gain from doing this? You have the option of logging your keyfrequency -- a chart that shows just how often you press each key on your keyboard! My top 5 keys are: Space, uparrow, rightarrow, leftarrow, letter E. Now what I want to know is why do I press the right arrow key a couple thousand more times than I press the left arrow key...... >_> <_< >_> You can also have it count clicks, and track your total keys per minute. I had Project Dolphin for a while. I uninstalled it like 3 weeks ago, and I'm still number 2. I turn it off whenever I play games, etc, therefore I could've easily creamed ya'll if I had tried.

Althought it counts keystrokes, it does NOT record the order you press keys in -- it only makes a tally mark every time you press a key. If it kept track of WHAT you typed then it would be considered spyware, but it doesn't do that. It only keeps track of how much you type.

Warboards used to use project dolphin (aka Pulse) but WhatPulse is the exact same thing with more features, more statistics, and an overall more thorough feel.

I play World of Warcraft -- that requires you to type A LOT to talk to other players -- without text chat that game wouldn't work properly. I probably type a few pages of chat per hour from WoW chat alone.

Well, I play World of Warcraft too, chat with people on my guild, talk to guys in the party on elite quests, laugh a lot at the alliance on battlegrounds, and still you have more keys!
