New proof means that dinosaurs may have had feathers that could have been multi-coloured :O (link (http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2087-1764136,00.html)).

The latest visualisation suggests that parts of Walking with Dinosaurs, the acclaimed BBC series, cannot be seen as scientifically valid. Similar criticisms might also be levelled at the Hollywood blockbuster Jurassic Park.

Since WHEN have THEY been considered scientifically valid?

That still doesn't answer my question! Was it the egg, or the chicken?

I heard that on the Discovery Channel over a year ago. It suggested that raptors (which, by the way, means "birds of prey") had plumage on their limbs. I guess that, err.... study is one step forward, but I'm willing to believe it.

Far out, this was first sugested over 20 years ago, in all likelihood they where feathered. Also means what we thought there environment was like is also probably wrong, as they would not have evolved feathers if it was not cold enough to need them.
By the way "Raptor" means "Fast Plunderer".
