I say thing because it can convert to several different forms... binary/hex/etc. I just wanted people to know... because it's l33t.

Don't spam this thread with binary... it'll get closed... USE HEX!!!!

Char.

Anybody know what 'Char' is exactly?

I would imagine Char has something to do with ASCII values, because typing in "abc" gives "97 98 99".

Yes. Char is the numeric representation of characters. For example, the "72" at the start of Hair's post would represent a capital H.

It's rather straightforward. Load up Excel and type =char(72) and press enter. Alternatively, hold down the right [alt] + [7] [2] (with number lock on) and see what you get.

And I swear if people continue to post in these bloody codes I'm going to get a tad emotional. Grrr.

It is, the Char we are using is short for "Character" ;).

Anyway, nice find. I saw the other binary one before, but this one is cooler because it shows the most common encodings ;)
