I'm working on a mod that adds several new units. However, I've got a problem. One of them, an air unit, starts spinning randomly. Sometimes, if I try to move it, Starcraft crashes. If anyone has any ideas for fixing this, I'd like to hear them.

I once gave a Battlecruiser a large turning radius, and the same thing happened. I don't know if they're realted, but it's worth a shot adjusting the turn radius.

How exactly does it work? I'd mess with it, but I don't know how to do it properly. I don't want to create more of a problem from this little one.

heh, no one really knows how flingy.dat works actually. What I usually do is copy the flingy.dat values from a unit that has the kind of movement properties that I want and then edit it. So I've got no real suggestions for you unfortunately but to reset your speed values and start again.

all flingy.dat values are mislabeled in arsenal III

I reset it to values from the Wraith, Scout, BC, Obs, and it still does it. Then, I used the grahpic to replace the wraith, and it didn't spin like crazy. So, I think that there might be an Iscript entry that it is running that causes it to mess up, but I could be wrong. Anyway, it happens after 3 Idle animations, no matter what script I'm running(I tried the units listed above for script also). The Flingy entry is 147, the whitebeam one. It seems to be playing a normal frame, then a mirrored one, and it goes around and around. It isn't causing it to crash anymore, but it is still a problem.
EDIT - Probelm Solved. It comes from using a flingy entry that is considered to be in a list of weapons. The exe keeps on changing the turn radius so that it can follow its target fast, and actually hit it on time. I removed the change, and some weapons were messed up. So, I'll not be using those entries for units anymore.
