Time machines won't exist, as if you could go backwards through time, we'd have a lot more tourists then we have today, and this guy.. yeah, okay, you just found a time machine, a shrinking machine, and a mind reading machine in your basement or something. Okay. I beleive you...

Well time machines like THAT couldn't exist. But it is possible to have time machines that allow you to jump back and forth through space-time which would allow you to go back in time to when the time machine was created but not back to before time machine technology was available. Therefore there wouldn't be any time travellers until the time machine is invented.

That still means this could never have been found if it was made in 2282
